RIP Florian Schneider

Florian Schneider of Kraftwerk passed away today after a short battle with cancer. There's no underestimating the importance of Kraftwerk's impact on modern music. They were pioneers, innovators, true originals, legends. I'll never forget hearing Autobahn on AM radio as a teenager in 1975. It was most American's introduction to music from Germany. For the band, it was a beginning, and over the next few years they would continue to create completely original music. David Bowie's V2-Schneider was in tribute to Florian.

"Like the other movies in this series, Romantic Warriors - A Progressive Music Saga are not superficial documentaries. They are intimate conversations directly with the artists about their history, their music, and their stories. Essential viewing for all progressive music fans!"
