Jon Anderson and The Band Geeks Premiere "Shine On" Video, New Album "TRUE" Available In the midst of leg one of their 2024 tour, Jon Anderson and The Band Geeks today premiere the video for the song "Shine On", the first single from their forthcoming album "TRUE" which will be released on August 23rd. The video was filmed in New Jersey before the start of the tour and directed by Tom Flynn. The song has been performed nightly on the tour and has received universal positive response.

"Bursting Out, the live double album from 1978 is now available as the 3CD/3DVD 'Inflated Edition'. Remixed by Steven Wilson, it has been reordered back to its original running order with three additional tracks plus a Wilson mixed Madison Square Garden show from '78 on CD3. DVDs 1&2 have the remixed tracks in 96/24 stereo and 5.1 surround sound plus flat transfers of the original album at 96/24 stereo. DVD 3 has the full 93 minute MSG show including 50+ minutes of video which was part of a transatlantic broadcast with the BBC and Radio 1 with the audio being in 48/24 stereo and 5.1 surround.
From Cherry Red, the complete Emerson Lake & Powell collects their very strong 1986 studio album along featuring three bonus tracks, their live album ‘Live in Concert’ and a CD of rehearsals, ‘The Sprocket Sessions’, only previously released in the 90s as a bootleg. On a personal note, I attended this concert, recorded in Lakeland, Florida.
Damo Suzuki passed away on Friday February 9th. He had battled cancer for sometime, in fact, I just saw the US premiere of Energy: A Documentary About Damo Suzuki last week. RIP Damo, and thank you for being you.
